The Information
Management Committee was formed to analyze CEPAC's information management
activities, develop databases to assist in CEPAC program areas and to provide
guidance for the CEPAC computer network. This committee is responsible
for the current database used in record keeping of all facilities' hazardous
material inventory reports. The committee also reviews and recommends
all hardware and software purchases and usage in the various CEPAC program
areas.
During 2001, the
Committee developed the CAMEO program for fire departments. The committee
entered the data into CAMEO, and then they burned discs and sent this information to the fire departments each year.
The Quality Assurance Report for all data
is completed each year. Typically, the data entry error is below 1%, which is acceptable.
